Very comfortable apartment in Gdansk's lovely old town: 2 minutes from the impressive St Mary's Church (don't miss the astronomical clock show at noon, as well as the rewarding climb up the tower) and about 15 minutes to the railway station. (Very convenient for day trips.) Everything was very clean, the bed was super-comfy and we slept very well. I had read another review mentioning street noise and loud church bells, but we did not have problems with noise. Fortunately, there was no noisy venue near the building. The church bells do ring at 7 am, but they did not wake us up every day and I quite enjoyed their sound when I heard it. :) If you are very sensitive indeed to church bell ringing or normal street noise, the safest bet would probably be to avoid the central area (of any city) altogether - but, if you enjoy staying into a perfectly fine place in the old town (albeit not 100% sound insulated from the outside world), then don't hesitate to book Apartament Dominikański. 😊

Very good location, there are many different cooking options available at the apartment. Good air conditioning like very good.
Very old building, there are awful curtains, more than it, there are no curtains. You just wake up at the sun rise. Not clean, a lot of hair and dirty laundry. You don’t want to put your stuff on things like table and chairs because they dirty. You can’t watch tv at bed, because the tv location.

Die Lage und die Ausstattung. Generell fand ich das Apartment sehr gut. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Mitten in der Altstadt. Vom Personal hatte ich niemand getroffen. Zugang über Code und hat gut funktioniert. Der Zugang war bereits ab 12:30 h möglich statt offiziell 15:00h.
Zum Kochen gab es 2 Herdplatten. Ein Bachofen wäre nicht schlecht ist aber nicht zwingend notwendig.
