    A somewhat disappointing stay

    Communication with the owner Maria was fast and easy. The location is great, it's a quiet area and makes it easy to get to popular destinations. The view and pool are both nice, and there's lots of good food options close by.

    The pictures on the website are nicer than the actual apartment, including the fact one of the bedrooms is not an enclosed room. The beds were very firm, the bathroom was not very clean and the apartment was cold (due to a window being open without our knowledge as there was a smell that needed to be cleared out upon arrival and walkthrough with other owner). Additionally, there were issues with the power as it was shorted by the owner upstairs almost every day (which was blamed on us when we first arrived). Lastly, the booking rules state there are to be no parties of any kind (which is no issue) but the owner on the Sunday held a party that was loud (banging of doors and loud talking) along with drinks being spilt over their balcony, onto our area, and then a cigarette ending up being flicked into the pool. One would expect that if they set rules for those staying, they would set an example and respect the peace and quiet of guests staying there.

    Excellent!

    I spent nearly a week in Rui and Maria's lovely place with my Dad and had the best time. Everything we needed was right at hand. The pool is amazing, if cold, but that's a good thing :) Nice to have a car though, but Uber works so well in Lisbon, that it's really not a problem. Highly recommended!

    Exceptional

    Lovely apartment. Perfect out of town apartment. Decorated beautifully. A real gem. My 12 year old son needs space and privacy and he loved every minute. We got him into Lisbon centre to sight see for a few hours each day and he loved going back to the apartment after. Thank you Rui. Your dolphin and us had a great few days.
