  Facilities not as advertised, but great location

  Location was perfect.

  We had a very bad experience with the host company. When we arrived, there were no bed linen and towels yet, and we noticed that the washing machine that was originally advertised was not there. We contacted the host about this immediately. They sent someone to take care of the bed linen and towels right away, no complaints at all there. As for the washing machine, the host first said there was one available in the building somewhere. This turned out to just not be true when we asked the building staff about it. When we pointed this out, the host changed their statement, and insisted the machine should be in the apartment after all when it clearly wasn't anywhere to be found. They said they would send someone to figure out what happened, but never did. Instead, without telling us anything, they changed the property description on the Booking website, removed the washing machine from the listed amenities and removed the picture of it on the advertisement. We didn't hear from them again after that. Since this is obviously a very shady reaction, we contacted Booking directly about it, but were notified that they couldn't reach an agreement with the host about the issue. So the host turned what should have been a small inconvenience into a very bad experience. We did appreciate being casually lied to, gaslit, and then ignored, when a simple honest answer would have solved everything.
