    Comfortable stay at the Santa Filomena Apartments

    The apartment itself was wonderful - spacious, well appointed and with all the basic amenities. The beds were comfortable and the showers worked well. WiFi was consistent. When we discovered a couple of things were not working we contacted the property right away and got immediate assistance. The owner was very responsive and shared useful information with us. The area is still being developed so there was quite a bit of construction in the area but we did have a good view of the waterfront so we made good use of the terrace. It was quite quiet although at the weekend (Sat night) there was a fair bit of partying going on - fortunately the noise level fell in the early morning hours.

    Because we did not rent a car we had to rely on taxis to get into the city centre. This proved quite challenging at times as we couldn't always get drivers. The road to the apartment is not flat so the walk uphill was inconvenient. There is also no direct access to the beach which have been really great. This was rather frustrating.
