Had a great time staying at the property.
The location in the old town is excellent with local amenities nearby. Huge choice of restaurants and cafes, 3 minutes’ walk to a seaside promenade. Very convenient if travelling with the public transport. The hostess lady was extremely nice, friendly, helpful, and met us with complimentary bottle of wine, cake and a fruit bowl! She even offered us a 10% discount for a dinner in her local restaurant.
The place could do with the aircon. Fans were provided though. Windows are looking into a small yard, which serves as a parking, so needs to be shut with blinds all the time.

Emplacement idéal
L'emplacement est vraiment idéal dans rue Santa Maria à proximité du centre de Funchal. La place de parking est veaiment appréciable. Appartement relativement spacieux. Nous avons aussi bien apprécié le lave linge .
Nous nous posions la question des 2 lits simples que nous ne voyions pas sur les photos : il s'agit d'un lit simple avec un tiroir qui contient un autre matelas. Plaque de cuisson qui meriterait d'être changée et nécessite un briquet ou allume gaz pour l' allumer
