  Muy buena ubicación. El departamento es nuevo, funciona todo bien.

  No había pava eléctrica , tostadora, utensilios pocos. Ni siquiera había sal El olor, imposible de estar ahí. No recomendaría el departamento por el olor que hay. Entras y tenes que prender si o si el ventilador porque es una mezcla de olor a cloaca y al aromatizante fuerte que hay

  Not a good experience.

  The location.

  The location is great. It’s in the middle of the city. The apartment was clean, but extremely hot and there was a bad smell that caused me nausea every night. I reached out to the owner of the apartment and he agreed, but he said that he couldn’t do anything about the smell because it was from the building soil stack. I don’t know if I will recommend this place. Better a hotel with AC and all comfort because this place was not cheap at all and with the same money I could stay in a hotel.

  The apartment is centrally located in Chueca and staff were timely with the key handoff.

  Just about everything else. It was a heatwave in Madrid, and there is no air conditioning. What’s more there is a foul smell coming from the drains in the bathroom that pervades the apartment, mixed with heavy chemical smell from cleaning products trying to cover it up. I did not end up staying in the property because the temperatures in Madrid were 100 degrees F / 40 degrees C all weekend, and my traveling companion has health issues compounded by sensitivity to extreme heat, so it would have been dangerous to stay in the apartment. I did not realize there was no A/C when booking and requested a partial refund before arrival given the extreme weather conditions - but was refused. The ceiling fan in the apartment was non-functional when we tried it - shutting off or not turning on at all. And the smell was intolerable, especially given the heat and lack of airflow. The lighting is also a stark fluorescent that makes it feel a bit prison-like. Given the lack of A/C and the extreme temperatures, I had to shell out for alternative accommodations, so ended up paying double for the weekend in Madrid, given they would not discuss a refund for even one or two nights of the three-night reservation. So, it ended up being a total write off of $400. I picked up the keys, saw/smelled the place, and then my companion and I spent 3 nights in a hastily booked hotel. I spent no time in the apartment until I dropped the keys off two days later as we were leaving town. Given my experience, I cannot recommend booking this apartment, particularly in the summer months.
