  Nightmare vacation

  We appreciate the efforts of Francisco, the landlord, made and his willingness to address problems immediately. He was helpful and kind. However, there were simply too many problems. No one goes on holiday expecting to encounter problems constantly, especially not problems of this nature. First, the positive aspects: Apartment is of good size and well equipped. Location of the apartment is in proximity to the nice old town (7-10 minutes walking distance), but is located in less pleasant surroundings.

  Unfortunately, we did not have a good stay in the apartment at all for the following reasons: At arrival no hot water available. Water was heated with gas bottles. Called landlord who solved the problem of the empty gas bottle. Overall, always took long to get warm water. One electronic roller shutter was fully unhooked and didn’t work at day of arrival. Landlord came the next day to fix it. On third day, all three air-conditioning units in bedrooms stopped working. We were by then no longer in the mood to get anything repaired during our stay. On 3 days, Wi-Fi was often unavailable, or the signal was strong enough for only one device. However, there were the following far more serious issues: Neighbours in the house were extremely noisy throughout our stay, especially at night. During the day, in the evening, at night and early in the morning, loudly squeaking doors were constantly being opened and slammed shut - until 4am at night. The dogs of the neighbours in the house were barking loudly and constantly. Neighbours were regularly vacuuming until late at night. Large amounts of water poured regularly down from above onto our balcony, directly beside the table where we were eating breakfast. Parking space of the site was blocked by a neighbour one day and we had considerable trouble to find parking elsewhere. Smell of smoke from substances that are unacceptable (not meaning cigarettes or cigars!) in family surroundings in the stairwell. And the worst incident: on 2 days, a dog defecated in the stairwell three times, including directly outside our apartment door and just inside the building’s entrance. Disgusting, smelled awfully, unhygienic. On each occasion, the dog owners took a long time to remove the faeces. Despite having travelled a lot worldwide, we have never experienced anything like this elsewhere before and regret not having left this place immediately.

  Hem estat molt bé, tot era més que correcte i el Francisco ha sigut molt agradable i atent en tot moment.

  Alloggio molto ampio e con tutti i comfort necessari per un ottimo soggiorno. È presente iun comodissimo posto auto nel cortile recintato e accessibile con cancello motorizzato e con telecomando in dotazione. Peccato esserci stati solo 2 giorni

  Nulla. La struttura è facilmente raggiungibile, in zona tranquillissima e contemporaneamente a brevissima distanza dalla spiaggia del paese.

  Great place, great location, close to the fortress, beach and restaurants.

  Everything was great. The owner was really nice and approachable.
