  We stayed for a whole week and loved everything. The concierge was pleasant and sweet. He didn't speak English, but we found common ground. The apartment has a stunning view, the sound of the ocean – I miss that now. Mount Teide is visible from the window – be careful, and you're sure to notice it (we only noticed it on our fifth day – and it was a real surprise). The building dates back to the 1960s, but it's clear that the place is well-maintained and kept clean, which inspires respect. A small treat and a bottle of wine awaited us upon arrival. Thank you for this lovely gesture. The apartment is cozy and equipped with everything you need. It has a good mattress, two blankets, and towels. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the appliances, dishes, and utensils, as well as the basics—coffee, tea, salt, sugar, and spices. We often cooked for ourselves, eating breakfast and dinner on the loggia overlooking the ocean. The bathroom is clean and stocked with toiletries. Everything is beautiful and fresh. The washing machine worked well and includes laundry detergent. The building has a good, reliable elevator. There are several restaurants nearby and on the ground floor. We enjoyed the excellent fish at La Picotera—we highly recommend them. There are several grocery stores nearby. We recommend Unide – a wide selection of various products, including local pastries and bread, and a small cafeteria in the same building. The town is quiet and pleasant, and several hiking trails in the Anaga mountains start nearby. Be prepared for some ups and downs, but if you enjoy this type of vacation, you'll be delighted by the views. We saw people swimming in the pool, but we didn't take advantage of it ourselves. We'll probably save that for our next visit. There's plenty of parking near the house, but it gets crowded, especially in the evenings – for sunset, strolls, and restaurants – so finding parking near the house can be difficult.
