The kids are already requesting to return, even before our plane home touched down
The location was unmatched with the beach across the street. We came to Ponta delgada with the understanding we'd need to rent a car, so did not attempt another mode of transport - the parking (free) lot is right across the street. The apartment is a first floor, which as Americans did cause us some confusion as we didn't immediately recall that that is different than the ground floor :) The apartment layout is fantastic, the space is utilized exceptionally well. The hurricane shutters block all noise and light which is great for sleeping off jet lag. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds were comfortable, the balcony was absolutely wonderful for enjoying meals, and we felt very safe and secure. The host was great to communicate with and we appreciated the back and forth to identify the right way to book with our 6:45am arrival flight from North America.
We could not figure out how to work the dryer - it could be that it was user error, not being able to read the language, or it could be that there was an appliance glitch. It also took me a bit to find the broom - although staff comes in to clean, because the beach is across the street we tracked in a lot of sand and I wanted to be able to sweep it up to prevent tracking it around throughout the day. A label on the door or directions to find would help us navigate cleaning up after ourselves for little messes like that! It may also be the American in us, but we needed a larger trash can for the packaging waste of our food throughout the stay. All of these are incredibly minimal and would not keep us from booking here again at all!

This property has an excellent location. The beach is just across the street . This apartment is big ,clean, and newly renovated. Beds are comfortable. Many towels and one beach towel for each person. The owner is very nice and thoughtful. I received detailed directions and parking information before my arrival. The owner also let us check in early. Our family are so thankful for this beautiful apartment.
If the property has a small bottle of black pepper, it would be good.

La vista de la playa. La posibilidad de desplazarse hacia otros lugares de interes de la isla
La comodidad de las camas, las almohadas viejas. Holor a humedad. Barrio ruidoso y poca insonorizacion del apartamento. Por otra parte, el barrio donde esta el apartamento (san Roque) no es demasiado lindo.

El alojamiento estaba muy bonito y limpio, tenía de todo incluso un cuarto para la lavadora y secadora. Unas vistas al océano, hubo un día que pudimos ver delfines a lo lejos.
Lo que no me gustó, es que cuando entrabas al apartamento olía como a humedad y el cuarto de baño también. Pero por lo demás, genial
