    In Summary we had a lovely visit to Nerja and did not regret our booking at Apartment Alan we would definitely return

    The property was very central and we found it exactly to be as it was described on booking.com . It was basic but clean and had enough kitchen facilities to prepare breakfast and a snack. We found it very simple to check in and they even contacted us to let us know that the room was ready a little bit earlier which we appreciated. No staff on hand but wasn’t necessary as any questions I messaged were answered very promptly. We really enjoyed our stay.

    It would have been nice to have a change of sheets and towels after a few days , however price did reflect this and was very good value for money .

    OK, but having no window to the outside world is not good.

    Closeness to town centre

    Basically a basement studio with no windows. This was not mentioned in the advert. The smell from the laundry room was pungent.

    It was clean when we arrived and the location was good if you are there for the beach.

    Not enough cooking facilities, there is only a stove top and no extraction so the whole apartment building smelt of cooking smells No balcony when it stated there would be one We were just 2 of us and we had to buy oil, coffee, loo rolls, shampoo and all the shower things as there is nothing provided (one roll of loo roll) The bed was a small double and extremely uncomfortable for two tall people When we initially turned the air con on, it smelt very strongly of urine The rooftop pool has no umbrellas to be able to sit out as it was incredibly hot There was a lingering smell of sick from the rooftop drains which was very off putting
