    Excellent short stay in an ideal location at a fair price.

    The location of this apartment is amazing only a few yards from the beach, shops, restaurants & bars. Apartment is in a block with secure entrance leading to a lift to the fourth floor where the apartment is located. The communal parts of the block is spotless & well maintained. When we were there, there appeared to be mainly locals living in the block. The apartment itself was dated but functional. Lovely small terrace with views over the main square & out to the beach, you get the sun in the morning. Kitchen was useable with everything you need to prepare breakfast or a small meal. Bathroom had a large shower & plenty of storage. Plenty of towels supplied both hand & sheets. Bedroom had a comfortable large bed with side tables & lamps. Large built in wardrobes so loads of storage. there was a Washing machine, ironing board & iron & a hair dryer. The apartment was very clean. There were very good comms from the property manager leading up to the stay & we were met outside the block & shown to the apartment. We never had any problems but we had a direct 24 hour contact number for the property manager & I got the feeling issues would be resolved quickly. There is no parking near the apartment although you could unload near to the front door then move the car. The apartment block was very quiet & there is a nice happy noise that comes from the square with kids playing & people enjoying themselves. Would definitely return to this apartment. El Medano feels safe for adults & children.

    No air conditioning but keeping the terrace door & bedroom window with the prevailing wind the apartment was cool enough. Just watch when you open the front door as it is likely to slam shut, make sure you have your house key!
