    Great apartment in super location!

    We stayed in no 3, a studio with balcony. We have visited Albufeira for many years so we knew the location in the heart of the old town would be perfect for us. The apartment is in a small traditional building (portuguese tiled stairwell etc.) Situated at the top of the escalators. Access was easy and clear communications about arrival and departure. Albufeira is a busy resort that is known for its party vibe at night so expect to hear the escalators at night and late night revellers. Although audible at times, we didn't find it a problem. The apartment is well equipped with cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster, iron etc. We didn't use the hob or microwave as we ate out but it has a full size fridge, handy for cold drinks. The air-conditioning is modern and efficient. The beds are firm but comfortable and toilet rolls, washing up liquid and hand soap were provided which was useful. The balcony is very small but adequate with two chairs and a table. Facing south west you get the sun from lunchtime all the way through to sunset and with great views of fishermans beach, the beach square and old town, its perfect for people watching! Great electric blinds to keep the apartment cool too. The tv was initially baffling but there are two remotes and once activated there are plenty of channels to access, many in English with subtitles. Lots of news channel options etc. Wifi was free and a good fast connection. My husband met the lady who looks after the apartment only briefly when popping back but she offered to change the towels and bed linen. This apartment had everything we needed for a 5 night stay and we would definitely stay again (if it has availability!) Don't expect perfect as this is a traditional apartment that is used by holiday visitors throughout the year but it's certainly charming, well maintained and and has the modern touches we wanted and needed. Fantastic!

    Nothing to dislike.
