Spacious, clean, had a kitchen and all amenities needed
The owner asked me to sign in to another platform and enter my personal information there, even though it’s against booking.com policy. The information for check-in in the booking.com and alternative platform was different. In the booking app it said the owner will meet you at the place, but in the alternative page it said there would be a self check-in. This was important for me for someone to be there because the owner asked me to pay taxes. Not that I wanted to avoid to pay these fees but I felt very uncomfortable sending money (city tax + pet fee) to a random bank account outside the platform. I sent the money on revolut but until the last minute I didn’t know if I would be able to get in the apartment or not, everything felt like a scam. If it hadn’t booked on such short notice I would have just cancelled the booking and looked for more reliable accomodation. Everything turned out to be okay, but the whole stress was not worth it.
