Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt rundum gelungen.
Wir sind früher angekommen, als es geplant wurde (um 8 Uhr), und unserer Anfrage um früheren Check-in wurde sofort zugestimmt. Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, weil die Apartmentsbesitzerin im Erdgeschoss wohnt. Eigener Eingang zum Apartment über die Treppe. Klimaanlage befindet sich im Wohnzimmer und funktioniert sehr gut. In der Küche gibt es alles Notwendige und es ist überall sauber. Sehr schöne Terrasse mit Abendsonne und teilweise mit Meeresblick. Ein angenehmer und einfacher Kontakt mit der Besitzerin. Zentrale Lage: 3–5 Minuten bis zum Materada-Strand mit Liegen- und Sonnenschirmverleih (7 Euro), kleiner Supermarkt Konzum um die Ecke mit den günstigen Preisen. Mehrere Wege zum Wasser am Materada Strand: über den Betonsteg, über die Rampe, über die Treppen. Wir haben keine Badeschuhe gebraucht. Schöner und frei zugänglicher Sandstrand am Valamar Hotel (ca. 5–7 Minuten zu Fuß), ein Paradies für Kinder. Restaurant Istranka ist gleich am Strand (Fischsuppe kostet 7 Euro).
