    The place was clean and spacious, and had everything you needed. The location was great, easy to get into the center of town. Local supermarkets near by. Emma who gave us the keys was wonderful.

    The iron malfunctioned consistently upon plugging it in, invariably tripping the fusebox. Upon messaging the host, they indicated a replacement would occur at some point on Sunday. I inquired if a morning visit was possible, to which they responded they could not guarantee the time. The issue is we arrived Saturday and depart Monday morning... What is the benefit of a Sunday replacement when our clothing required immediate ironing? Consequently, I simply visited Argos and acquired a travel iron. This constituted rather subpar customer service.

    Lovely clean, comfortable apartment. Not too far out of York city centre.

    No parking. Had to park down the road.
