    I arrived after several hours of driving, discovered that the accommodation was materially different from what was adver

    Unfortunately, there was nothing I could reasonably rate positively, as I did not stay at the property due to the significant discrepancy between the listing and the accommodation provided.

    The accommodation was not as described or pictured on Booking.com. The advertised balcony/terrace was not actually available to the booked room. What was presented as a “balcony” was simply a table and two chairs next to the parking area, while the balcony shown in the listing appeared to belong to the owner’s private area. The owner did not acknowledge the discrepancy or offer a reasonable solution.

    Old and needs basic amenities updating

    Pisak is a lovely location but there is a very steep hill to the beach (we named it heart attack hill!) and driving down is difficult as it’s not easy to park. We used the stairs to the beach which make it slightly easier. The view is lovely but doesn’t make up for the issues in the property.

    Bedroom is the front and the aircon is in the small lounge, the bedroom does not get any cold air so it’s impossible to sleep in the summer. The shower is not attached to the wall so you have to use it like a bath head but it’s a shower unit. This has been reported for years (along with the fact that tissue is holding the aircon open) but the owners don’t seem interested in fixing it. Overall the place needs a revamp, even for a budget stay there are expectations of a decent bathroom etc. As you walk up the stairs the garden is dirty and it’s just generally not well looked after.
