    Overall, the price and location were good, but the cleanliness and the way our concerns were handled left a lot to be de

    The apartment was very poorly cleaned. We reported this to the owner, who unfortunately responded rather rudely, saying that if we wanted a clean place, we should have booked a more expensive hotel. She later explained that someone close to her had passed away. While I sympathise with her loss, this does not excuse the poor standard of cleanliness or the condition in which the apartment was left for guests.

    The bed was huge and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of towels.

    The apartment is below road level and was rather dingy with a smell of mould - especially in the living room and kitchen. There was a very loud dehumidifier in the bathroom, and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was so noisy we couldnt sleep with it on. It was nice to have outdoor space but it was a bit rough looking, didn't have the same welcoming feel that the photos project. The hill up to the apartement was steep but short. There are steps down to the appartement which could do with better lighting.
