Big, clean, comfortable apartment in an excellent location. There is no proper "center" in Aktau, but this is close to what could probably be considered the center, and in addition is close to the water. Everything was very clean, and I would have been happy to stay here long-term if I was spending more time in Aktau. The host was quick to reply via WhatsApp and, although she doesn't speak english, was friendly and helpful. The wifi worked well, as did the air conditioning (aside from the noise - see below). For the price, this is an excellent choice and would for sure be my first choice if I return to Aktau.
The only negative thing I can say is that some of the appliances clearly need maintenance. The air conditioner in the bedroom is so loud at times that it's difficult to sleep, making you choose between a cool room and a quiet room. And the refrigerator is also quite loud.
