  This was a bucket list dream come true destination!

  Every aspect exceeded our expectations! The apartment! The tiny town! The view! The owners! The lovely Italian feel! The breakfast! All the kindnesses shown us!

  There was nothing we didn’t love!

  The Best Hosts and the Best Stay in Tuscany

  B&B Del Giglio was a dream come true. It was everything we hoped for in a Tuscany stay: beautiful, charming, comfortable, and made even more special by the incredible hospitality of Roberto and Laura. I can’t say enough about how well they took care of us. The villa was spacious and full of character, with all the amenities we needed. One of our favorite parts was the charming backyard overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan countryside. Sitting there, looking out over the rolling hills, it felt like we had stepped into A Room with a View. We truly could have stayed forever. B&B Del Giglio was one of the highlights of our time in Tuscany, and we would return in a heartbeat!

  The apartment was very spacious and beautifully located within the medieval part of the castle, right in the heart of Tuscany, with all the major towns and cities within easy reach. We really appreciated all the thoughtful details throughout the apartment. Roberto and Laura were wonderful hosts, friendly, helpful and very welcoming

  What makes this a perfect Tuscan retreat!

  From the moment we pulled in, we were greeted by Roberto, our host. The warmth & welcome was felt by all in our group immediately. "Friendly" doesn't even begin to describe the genuine welcome we experienced. We were walked throughout this amazing "castle" by our host as we got to learn of its history as well as charm. Our hosts quickly became more like friends than simply hosts. Sharing the passion and love for the area as well as pride in the property. We had incredible breakfasts at the villa several times and several meals in the village. San Donato is a charming lpittle village, with numerous little shops & restaurants. Impromptu community parties and festivals abound and are open to all. I can't say enough about this place except to say, I honestly cannot wait to visit again. Roberto is also an artist, with his handiwork evident throughout. He will also show you the wine cellar featuring several local vineyards. By the way, the view out the bedroom windows is an incredible one and demonstrates what makes this Tuscan retreat a perfect place to be.

  The only thing that I truly did not enjoy, was the end of our time here.
