  To avoid

  Absolutely a nightmare.

  The host cancelled on us in the morning of the check-in day. We had already landed and had nowhere to stay. Nobody helped us find different accommodation so it was insanely stressful.

  Horrível

  Foi horrível, especialmente porque o consigo não funcionava, pedimos ajuda inclusive nos proprietários e eles se recusaram a nos ajudar dizendo que não poderiam fazer nada. Não recomendo esse lugar a ninguém.

  Great location and a lovely spacious clean apartment

  Amazing location in the centre of Brussels, had everything we needed! Super spacious inside and a lovely balcony.

  There were no towels in the property, which was due to a strike at the time I believe. Had to purchase our own, also only 1 toilet roll which we also had to go and purchase more off!

  Booking.com should know that the original property is no longer available!

  Considering the host had to find another property at short notice that was good. It was close to the original property. It was clean.

  At 10:50 BST on the day we were traveling, I received a phone call informing me that we could not stay there due to neighbours objecting to short-term holiday lets. My four friends travelling with me had also already begun their journeys, so this came as a considerable shock. The woman I spoke to assured me that alternative accommodation had been arranged. She sent me a video beforehand, and it already appeared much more basic than the original booking. However, given the circumstances and the fact that we would all be arriving within a few hours, we had little choice but to accept it. When we arrived, even accessing the property proved difficult, as the key box was extremely tricky to open and took several minutes to access. There was no bath mat, making the bathroom floor very slippery and potentially dangerous, and there were no hand towels provided for either the toilet or bathroom. Only one towel per person was supplied for a three-night stay, which is not acceptable. The original apartment advertised five single beds, whereas the replacement property only had three single beds and one double bed, meaning two members of our group were forced to share. In addition, the kitchen was considerably smaller and far less well equipped, and the fridge was not functioning properly during our stay. There were insufficient bowls, mugs, and cutlery, with only three of each available despite the apartment being booked for five guests, meaning we could not all eat together. Overall, we were extremely disappointed not to receive the apartment we had originally booked, particularly given the extremely short notice provided on the day of travel. While we appreciated that alternative accommodation was arranged, the replacement property was of a significantly lower standard and did not match the quality of the original booking. It is not a property we would have chosen ourselves and, in our view, it would reasonably have been advertised at a considerably lower price.
