  The condition of the room could have been much better for the peak season pricing

  View from balcony overlooking the pool was nice. Close enough to the beach

  Although the room looked clean, a deeper cleaning is definitely needed. Our daughter has a mold allergy and there’s visible mold on the AC vents. The filters were extremely dirty also. We had to sleep with the windows opened due to her coughing while using the AC. The area is pretty loud late night this time of year so sleeping wasn’t sound at all especially for a 5 year old and 18 month old. Pull out couch mattress is totally worn and you’re literally sleeping on the crossbars on the frame. Bathroom sink has a constant drip at the faucet and the toilet makes a very loud sound when it flushes. Fan in the bathroom doesn’t work. Sliding screen door on the balcony was not in the track and has a large hole in it so it couldn’t be used. Although the room was more affordable compared to other properties or rooms this time of year, it needs just a little maintenance to bring it up to the standard you’d expect for the price. Owner was very helpful upon check in since I missed the check in email and was trying to do it through the main desk at the hotel instead of just going right to the room with the door code

  A convenient, relaxing and enjoyable place to stay

  Right across from the beach. Access to 2 heated pools. Full kitchen. Comfortable bedding and linens. Easy parking

  Noisy Construction work going on at the Royal Atlantic Resort. I forgot my shampoo and the woman at the front desk wouldn’t give me a small bottle of shampoo because I had rented from the owner and not the resort. I was not aware that I had rented privately. That should have been made known when I booked and what necessities I needed to bring. The screen on the sliding balcony door was rusted and fell off the track. Access to a washer and dryer would have been helpful.

  A very affordable apartment just steps from both the ocean and main street.

  The location was excellent. The beach was literally across the street. The main part of town was a five-minute walk away. The apartment had a full kitchen, including a real-sized fridge, stove top, oven, and a microwave. If you want to save money on dinner, or if you get the late night munchies, that kitchen comes in handy. This is not to say that there aren't several places just steps away that offer great dining experiences. This is not a paid endorsement, but there's a take-out only seafood place called Bennett Shellfish that is only a six minute drive from town that offers, amongst other things, two delicious lobster rolls for cheaper than any other single roll in town.

  I was pretty much satisfied with everything. A heads-up: This is not a four-star hotel, but you get a heck of a lot of bang for your buck. I highly recommend this place.
