Location proximity to Lapad Beach good - disappointing communication regarding demolition as well as facilities needing
We like the close proximity to Lapad and Sunset Beach.
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The kitchen was missing some basic items such as bowls and a kettle. We deliberately book places with cooking facilities, but the knives provided were extremely blunt, making it difficult to prepare meals. The listing also mentioned WiFi, but it never worked despite multiple attempts to connect, which meant the TV couldn’t be used. Even if it had worked, the TV was mounted in a very awkward position in the kitchen, where it wasn’t practical to watch from anywhere. In addition, there was a demolition taking place directly outside both bedrooms every morning of our stay, starting quite early. While I understand this may have been beyond the host’s control, it would have been helpful to be informed in advance, as it significantly affected our sleep as well as us not wanting to be in the house during the day due to noise and dust. We tried to contact the host several times during and after our stay but unfortunately received no response. Overall, the property did not meet the expectations set by the listing, and communication could be improved.
