  Accommodation: We arrived about an hour earlier than planned and the host kindly offered us a free early check-in, which we really appreciated. The apartment has a beautiful sea view, but there’s a construction site right next door – so yes, there was some noise during the day. Nothing terrible, just something to keep in mind. (Not deducting any points for that – that’s life.) Amenities: A few things listed on Booking were missing – specifically the iron and ironing board. We contacted the host on the day we arrived, she insisted they were there. We replied they weren’t. On the third day, she brought an iron – but the bottom was dirty, so not very usable. Cleanliness: Overall the place was clean enough, but all the dishes were dirty and greasy – probably because the previous guests didn’t use a dishwasher tablet (or just ran it badly). Either way, the cleaner should’ve checked that. The bedroom with the double bed is very cozy – getting to the bed from the window side felt a bit like an obstacle course. You can make it, but it’s a bit of a sideways shuffle. Also, the A/C in the bedroom blows straight onto the bed, so unless you enjoy arctic nights, you might prefer using the one in the living room instead. Check-out: We really appreciated the self check-out option – no need to wait around for the host, we just left when it suited us. Very convenient. Summary: For the price, it’s totally fine for a few nights. If you're not spoiled by five-star resorts, you'd probably rate this place 9 out of 10.

  You can usually park directly under the building, but one evening all the spots were taken, and we had to park in a way that almost blocked access to the garages – not ideal, but manageable. As other reviews have mentioned – the apartment is on the second floor and the elevator still doesn’t work. So be ready to carry your luggage up the stairs.
