    Large, well-equipped, spacious apartment in a good location

    The photos show a washing machine in the bathroom, but there actually wasn’t one in the apartment. When we checked in, there were no available parking spaces, so the host temporarily directed us to the parking lot behind the apartment. There, we had to argue with a Croatian man even though we didn’t understand a single word he was saying. As it turned out later, we weren’t supposed to park there. We were promised that our parking spot would be available in 15 minutes, but it ended up taking about 3 hours. On the second-to-last day, I tried to reach the host to coordinate the time of our leaving (and the return of the deposit). The host didn’t respond via Booking, text message, or phone, in fact, they likely had call blocking set up for me, because the call rang through on a friend’s phone, while my line was always busy. Unfortunately, Booking’s customer service was also unable to reach the host. On the bright side, a man arrived at 9 a.m. on the last day, took over the apartment, and returned the security deposit.
