    Very comfortable, well appointed modern apartment. Amazing views. Helpful host. Friendly neighbours. Great location, near beaches, old town, ferries.

    Shower a bit awkward to use.

    Overall it was fine

    The owner met us to hand over the keys. She was very friendly and full of information about where to go and instructions on what to do and not to do inside the property, as it is her home during the Autumn /Winter months. We even had a lesson on how to unlock the front door! It's the view that really sells this property.

    The area around the flat seemed safe enough but for the first couple of days we had the sight and smell of overflowing bins outside, which was unpleasant, although of course this is out of control of the owner. Also, although there was said to be a washing machine, we were asked not to use it (not sure why) but that if we wanted washing done the owner would do it for us?

    A comfortable, fully equipped, and spacious apartment with an excellent host.

    Amazing views from the top floor apartment. Very clean and well equipped. Biljana provided detailed help on services and things to do.

    The shower is just a handset over the bath, but we quickly got used to that.

    We enjoyed a very comfortable, quiet stay at Apartment Penthouse Ema with its spectacular views.

    We loved the amazing 270 degree views from the various windows and balcony of the sea, harbour, shipping, old town and Marjan Hill and inland to the mountains. Absolutely fantastic! The flat is attractive and has a nice layout and modern decor. There is a full range of utensils in the kitchen. The owner kindly left some drinks in the fridge and welcome snacks. She was really friendly and helpful, even though we arrived late in the evening and we were all pretty tired. The apartment building is old but secure and the surrounding area feels safe, even late at night. There are a couple of supermarkets very near and the close-by gas station shop is conveniently open 24 hours/day.

    The shower in the bathroom is hand-held. Wall-mounted would give a better experience, but we managed OK. We would have found having bedside lights useful. Everything else was great.
