AVOID THIS PROPERTY — SERIOUS CLEANLINESS, SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE FAILURES I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to book elsewhere. What was presented in the listing as a beautiful, well-maintained apartment was, in reality, a deeply disappointing and unacceptable accommodation experience. I booked this property for a group of friends and was left embarrassed that I had recommended it. The apartment appeared not to have been properly cleaned, inspected or prepared before our arrival. Most seriously, we discovered small pieces of broken glass scattered across the floor. One of my friends actually stepped on the glass, resulting in pieces becoming embedded in her foot and having to be removed from her skin. This is not a minor housekeeping issue — it is a serious and entirely avoidable health and safety failure. Guests should never be placed at risk of injury because a property has not been properly cleaned and checked. The problems did not end there. The iron was covered in burnt residue, and when my friend used it, it permanently damaged her expensive shirt. This was raised with the owner, yet the response was dismissive rather than demonstrating genuine concern for the damage caused. Other issues included: - Dirty plates and cups being returned to cupboards as though they had been cleaned. - Dust and inadequate cleaning throughout the apartment. - Damp visible on the wall. - A broken bidet spray. - Excessive condensation in the bathroom. - A washing machine displaying a service warning. - Missing essential supplies. - Insufficient bedding despite the property being booked for four adults. - Inappropriate bedding supplied, including double duvet covers/sheets rather than suitable bedding for the guests. - An extremely uncomfortable double mattress in the main bedroom, which left us with significant back discomfort. Taken individually, some of these issues might be described as maintenance or housekeeping problems.
