    Exactly what we were looking for - it was clean and very comfortable, Ann was a great host and Bella the dog was the icing on the cake. Would love to visit again.

    It's the back of the garage, not a Duplex apartment!

    We liked the dog Bella.

    Its a garage! The 1st thing that hits you is the unpleasant smell of plaster. The room above the garage is so impersonal, it feels like you're in a dentist's waiting room it's so clinical with its white plasterboard everywhere. The advert says duplex/apartment. It is the back of the garage. We have never stayed, or worse still, paid for the privilege of parking ourselves in a converted garage. There was one small, threadbare grey towel in the bathroom and there are locks on the heating thermostat. We had the courtesy to inform the owner we'd be arriving late, so one would think the heater booster would have been on! None of it, the place was freezing and we had no means of getting warm. We've never been anywhere more depressing and less inviting in our lives. Truly awful!! There is also the hope a pint of milk would be in the fridge. Of course not. The garage has nothing to recommend it, not even a sprinkling of Irish charm, this stay is a case of charmless profiteering. Luckily a We're from Carlow, so know this is an anomaly. As my family said, God help anyone coming from abroad for some Irish hospitality. It all felt like minimum input for maximum profit!! Everything felt cheap, flimsy and depressingly mean.
