Location. Its up the hill, you will definitely need a car and test your driving skills.

Great stay for families with rental car.
The views are incredible. Parking was very convenient. The apartment is large and spacious. The highways are easily accessible and airport is easy to get to. The hosts are very kind.
I wish the windows had screens because mosquitos were an issue. The neighborhood is more residential. Funchal is 20min drive away. It can be rather noisy at night with barking dogs. Car is essential.

Excellent host and an excellent apartment.
The host was excellent, there was a bottle of local wine and biscuits waiting for us at the apartment. The apartment was clean with nice facilities and a kitchen. The view from the balcony is stunning and we spent a lot of time there.

Lovely views, great and comfortable stay
Fantastic stay in a beautiful area! Evening view of the city from the balcony is really breathtaking. In this apartment you can relax and just enjoy your holidays after tripping around the island. The house offers a large space with everything you need during even longer stays. Highly recommended!
