  There was air conditioning in the living area; however, the adjoining bedrooms had no air conditioning and could not be ventilated, making it absolutely impossible to sleep there during the summer. The bedding could hardly be described as proper bedding – it was old, worn and looked washed out. The filling in the pillows was also very worn. The towels were in such poor condition that they were more suitable for use as floor cloths. There was often no hot water, and sometimes no water at all. The toiletries appeared to have been left behind by previous guests rather than being provided as stated in the description. We would have appreciated at least a coffee machine in the apartment. A warmer welcome from the owners would also have been nice – even a bottle of chilled water on arrival would have been a pleasant gesture. The apartment is located on a hill with a very difficult and steep drive up, particularly for less confident drivers. Anyone with mobility or walking difficulties may also struggle with the location. The price for pets is not clearly specified, and the owner charges what we considered to be a very high fee. The dishwasher was extremely dirty, there was no washing machine in the apartment, and the sofas were not sofa beds as advertised. The restaurants in the surrounding area were very disappointing, and there was nowhere nearby to even go out for breakfast.
