95% amazing month-long stay
Marko is a very nice and responsive host with his Montenegrin hospitality, and the unit was clean upon arrival. Bed was massive and comfortable. Desk was comfortable and AC was actually cold. I slept well there. The apartment seems great for short-term stay where you're outside doing activities most of the day, which is probably what most guests do. I did stay for almost a month as a digital nomad who decided to base in Cetinje hoping to be productive (an uncommon choice). About 95% of my stay was great, though not perfect. The location is great, a short walk to the museum and bus stations that would take you to Kotor, Podgorica, and Budva in about an hour for under 10 euros. The host accommodated my request for smoke-free and scent-free room the best they could, though occasionally other guests smoked in the stairwell (this is a very smoking-heavy country). The single hob and fridge worked, and the host provided the extra kitchen items I requested.
The communication could have been better and more proactive, especially around utility disruptions which seem to be usual in Cetinje, e.g. water cut off between midnight - 6 AM and occasional power cutoffs late Wednesday mornings. These are water shortage and scheduled repairs in the country and region, not anything wrong with the hotel, but you'd be on your own for staying on top of these things if you don't like surprises. The cleaner was eccentric and despite cleaning everything else, she left the floor out so I ended up cleaning myself after the weekly cleanings. Once I asked her to clean the floor and she declined, citing ankle infection.
