Extreme attempt by the accommodation provider to gain financial benefit without regard for the level
The accommodation was in a very quiet location.
I recently stayed at Apartments Branimir on Ugljan Island and I feel it is important to share my honest experience. While some details provided on their profile are accurate, there are several important points missing that future guests should be aware of. The apartment is accessed via a narrow 1.5-meter alley, and all luggage, sports equipment, and groceries must be carried about 200 meters from a parking area. If you arrive by car, parking is free only in the village at a lot around 300-400 meters away; closer parking is both paid and very limited. The building itself is old, reflected in the outdated electrical system, and the apartment’s furnishings are quite old and poorly maintained. The air conditioning is unusual, without an option to set the temperature; when it cools down, the unit switches to heating and cannot be turned off. During our two-week stay, no cleaning service was provided, and there were no cleaning supplies available, making it impossible to clean the apartment ourselves. The garden is neglected and dirty, thus unusable, and the small inflatable pool was never cleaned, covered only by a net and with no cover. The terrace features an artificial carpet instead of tiles, which is difficult to maintain. When asking the owner about a dog-friendly beach, the response was dismissive, suggesting we use Google Maps, despite the owner having a dog themselves. This felt very arrogant and unprofessional. Financially, the terms were also concerning. A 100% cancellation fee is charged, which I have never encountered elsewhere. A €200 deposit is collected immediately after booking as a single bank transfer, while all other payments are cash without receipts. There was also a dog surcharge of €280 not clearly stated in the Booking listing. Upon departure, €100 was withheld from the €200 deposit, citing a dirty pool allegedly caused by our dog. Majiteľka bola úžasná. Apartmán bol síce starší ale útulný
Nemáte kde parkovať. Neplatené parkovisko je pomaly 1km od ubytovania ktoré je do kopca. Takže buď si zaplatíte blízke parkovisko alebo sa nabehate.
