    Gracious hosts and ideal location

    No breakfast was provided. The location is ideal. The hosts, Monica and Cristiano, were gracious, engaging, personable, and informative. We were within walking distance of excellent restaurants and pizza/bakery shops. Cristiano directed us to the restaurant and pizza/bakery shop preferred by the local residents. We ate dinner at the restaurant for two of the three nights we were in Rome and enjoyed coffee and baked goods two of the three mornings as we prepared our activities for the day. The most significant historical sites were either within walking distance or a short taxi ride from the Apartments. As a result, we were able to pack a great deal into our brief stay in Rome. We have recommended the Apartments to close friends who travel regularly to Rome, and will make the same recommendation to other friends and family who are planning a trip to Rome. If we return, we will stay at the Apartments.

    I would gladly stay here again!

    The setting of this cozy little “hobbit hole” (tucked into a medieval courtyard) is magical! It was also quiet and cool, a real respite from the heat and crowds of a Roman summer. I slept peacefully every night.

    My teenage daughter would have liked a separate room, rather than a fold-out couch that took up the entire common area.
