  We enjoyed our stay in Penzance and the apartment was in a very good position for getting about .

  Good situation , near car park and many restaurants.It was very clean and had most things that we needed.

  Smaller than photographs indicated . The shower was a bit temperamental .

  Convenient but basic

  Location great for train and buses We traveled by train It was clean

  Light in living room a nightmare for tall people could easily be changed Haning and clothes storage for a week for two people was very poor.

  Het lag op een voor ons perfecte plek. Alles was aanwezig. Echt appartement was prima.

  Het uitzicht vanuit het appartement vond ik niet echt leuk. Wel midden in een woonwijk.

  Nice room

  Difficult to contain the owner when we had problems getting in. No replies from them. Lucky someone who stayed there helped us. Wasted about an hour of wait with stress.

  Horribly uncomfortable springy old cushionless bed, noisy, broken & mouldy appliances

  The flat was clean and relatively spacious for a short stay, and the location is good as it’s close to Penzance station.

  As frequent travellers and loyal users of Booking.com, we were disappointed with this aparthotel — it is definitely not the standard we’d expect at an 8.0 rating. - The bed was extremely uncomfortable — the worst we’ve ever come across. It was very springy and lost all of its cushion, causing disrupted sleep and back pains. Thankfully, the sofa bed was better. - The walls are thin — significant noise could be heard from the main road on some nights, to the point of disrupting sleep. We could often hear the sounds of neighbours walking about, slamming doors, creaking floorboards etc as well. - The fridge and freezer were not working properly (fridge barely got cold, freezer did not get cold enough either), which spoiled our groceries (thankfully we didn’t buy too much initially) and plans to make simple meals and drinks. We messaged the host about it, but he merely asked us to keep checking if it was on and didn’t provide any solution or apology whatsoever. - The shower is extremely squeezy, even for a small person. The soap dispensers were not functioning well either. The bathroom could also really use some hooks. - The washing machine, though operational, was slightly dirty and mouldy. - The check-in instructions were inaccurate and contradictory — the e-booklet link said flat 1, whereas the message said flat 3. Both instructions said the lockbox would be on the right, when it was in fact on the left. The keys are not labelled and 2 of them look the same. We were able to figure it out after some trial and error, but it’s not the best experience after a long trip, especially given the hallway light was not working (we arrived in the evening and had to use phone flashlights) and the 4G/5G signal is poor in the area. Overall, the flat looked and sounded a lot better in the photos and reviews than what we experienced in real life. Replacement and/or maintenance of the bed, fridge-freezer, washer etc are definitely long overdue.
