Zed was a fantastic host, full of help, generosity and useful hints and tips. He was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than the advertised check in time. The location was generally quiet and had good walking access to the Old Town, Port Gruž and a diverse range of shops and eateries in between. The rooftop apartment had beautiful views of Mount Srđ from the kitchen Velux window and balcony, and a lovely view across the town to the sea from the bedroom window (although you needed to be tall or hop on a chair to fully appreciate this view!). The apartment has a well equipped kitchenette, a clean and fully functional shower room and a simple smart TV with Netflix and Youtube amongst its apps in the bedroom. The bed was clean and comfortable, and there is a decent size wardrobe with a safe for valuables. All in all a clean, well maintained and modern base from which to explore the city, with the support of a great host.
When we first arrived on a Thursday, the roads below had some loud vehicles racing about late at night which disturbed us a little, but it seemed to be dealt with quickly as we don't recall it happening again while we there. The slightly dated smart TV's live content is limited to mostly German satellite channels which are slow to populate. We ultimately didn't find it much of an issue as the built in YouTube app can provide a bit of background entertainment if needed. Not a problem for us, but the apartment is in an elevated position on the hillside so bear this in mind if you have any mobility issues - there are routes you can take to avoid the steepest flights of steps (of which there are many, this is part of Dubrovnik's character and unavoidable if you visit the Old Town), otherwise you may find yourself spending a lot on taxis (Uber works well as one of the various taxi options). You do need to be prepared for walking to make the most of this pretty city.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Im Apartment stand ein Begrüßungstrunk, Alles sehr sauber, ordentlich und geräumig. Ausstattung gut durchdacht. Super Betten, Kissen und Decken stehen noch zur Auswahl bereit. Wegbeschreibung nach google maps ausgezeichnet.
