    Extremely disappointing and unprofessional

    I booked this apartment TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE for 6 adults. Shortly after receiving the Booking.com confirmation, the host asked me to send €100 to confirm the reservation, which I did. However, just 5 days before our arrival, he called and said that he no longer had an apartment for us. He offered a much smaller apartment, which was completely unsuitable for 6 adults. We had to cancel the reservation and struggled to find alternative accommodation at such short notice. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially after being asked to pay €100 to confirm the booking.
