  Good amenities, but ruined by a lack of space, outdoor cats, and the host's attempt to extort money

  Pool area: There is a great swimming pool, very comfortable sun loungers, and beautiful evening lighting. Amenities: The apartment has a washing machine, a basic set of dishes, and bed linen. Location & Transport: It is located close to the bus station. A huge plus was the bicycles provided for guests — they were a lifesaver for getting to the beach.

  Extremely small space: The apartment is super tiny. It is frankly uncomfortable and cramped even for one person. It would be almost impossible for two people to stay here comfortably. No storage space: The closets were full of the host's personal belongings. There was absolutely no room for a guest's clothes, so I had to put my things on top of the wardrobe. Furniture condition: Some furniture needs replacing (for example, there is a torn stool in the apartment). Outdoor area & Cats: There are many stray cats in the yard, which creates a specific, unpleasant smell. It is impossible and unpleasant to use the outdoor patio furniture because the cats constantly use it as their beds. Distance to the beach: It takes about a 20-minute walk to reach the sea. In the summer heat, this is quite far and exhausting (the bikes were the only thing that helped). WARNING - Unacceptable host behavior (Extortion attempt): The worst part of my stay was the host's dishonest behavior. One day, the bicycle provided with the rental was damaged in an attempted theft while it was securely locked outside a store. I did everything by the rules: I called the police and filed an official report (I have the police case number). A local repair shop estimated the damage at 20 EUR, so I left this exact amount in cash for the host. Initially, she sent me voice messages explicitly stating that the bike was very old, that she was going to throw it in the garbage anyway, and that I didn't need to leave any money. However, she later completely changed her story and aggressively demanded 120 EUR from me for this old item! I view this as a direct attempt to extort money from a tourist. I had to involve Booking.com Support to resolve the issue. Be extremely careful if you book this place to avoid unjustified financial demands.

  Don’t stay here!!!

  The only part that went smoothly was meeting the building concierge at the agreed time. She contacted the owner and discovered that the electricity bills hadn’t been paid. She apologised and wished me a happy New Year.

  After exchanging messages, the owner informed me that the house had not been cleaned and advised me to move their belongings around the house, including a carpet, and to pick up clean sheets myself. I found this very strange and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the worst was yet to come. Upon arrival; after driving 1,000 kilometres from Greece; we discovered that the apartment had no electricity, in sub-zero temperatures. The concierge contacted the owner to assist us, but she simply suggested cancelling the reservation. As a result, I had to inform my elderly parents that they could not be accommodated and help them, extremely disappointed and frustrated, to find alternative accommodation.

  Close to the main road for bus ride into Sunny Beach centre

  Liked that it was a ground floor apartment as I have a walking disability. Loved the outside seating area 👍🏻 Everything was clean and tidy. Would’ve liked WiFi in the room but you can get it in the lobby. Communication with the owner was good 👍🏻 we were allowed to checkin early and checkout later than advertised 👍🏻 Would definitely book again if in the area 👍🏻
