Lovely stay in in the Lecce historical center, but frustrating experience paying for the facilities
The apartment is huge and quite lovely. Furnishings and facilities are those one would expect from an apartment in a historical building. The host was constantly in touch and always ready to help.
The difficulty of finding a parking space anywhere near the apartment, which is located in the historical town center, making loading and unloading of luggage very challenging. The apartment is located on the first floor with many, many steps and no elevator. I wouldn’t recommend it to senior citizens with luggage. It was also extremely difficult to pay for the apartment on site, since the owner only accepts cash. Transferring cash from a US account while in Italy proved an extremely complex and frustrating experience. In the future, I will make absolutely sure credit cards are accepted before booking any housing in Italy.

Most unfortunate experience see customer serve
Not suitable for young family or older people very difficult to pay cash and obtain a receipt a cash card was not acceptable and receipt not readily available see customer service paid bed tax for entire stay when we paid accommodation in full as required also charged cleaning See customer service

A spacious, quiet flat in the centre of town.
The property is well-situated, spacious and full of character. The kitchen is well-stocked and the roof is a fun place to spend the golden hour. The location is very central, but quiet and a short stroll to the train station.
