We loved Santa Margherita. It was a beautiful place to visit.We probably wouldn’t stay here though.
The location was wonderful. The decor was very well presented.
We couldn’t contact the owner prior to arrival after they had received our money. There was no communication prior to the arrival. We were left standing in the street for an hour & a half. A fruit shop owner across the road was helpful & located a neighbour to get a phone number as the Booking com number was incorrect. When the owner arrived, she was apologetic but had no understanding of English. The stairs to the 5th floor was a marathon. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with decent sized suitcases. The biggest issue is the shower set up. It was extremely slippery & my wife had a bad fall. The suction mat wasn’t a help as it caused more issues than it helped. Be warned!!
