Ich kann die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen
Haltestelle Piazza Cutelli des Flughafenbusses ca. 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Der Empfang im Centrum Hotel sehr liebenswürdig, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Zum (empfehlenswerten) Frühstück dort bitte am Tag vorher anmelden. Vom Hotel weitere 3 Minuten zur Wohnung im 2. Stock mit Aufzug. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig über zwei Etagen verteilt, oben 2 Schlafzimmer und 1 Bad, unten Diele, Wohnzimmer, große Küche, kl. Bad. Innenhofblick mit sehr großer Terrasse. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung und insbesondere der Küche lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Salz, Pfeffer, Kaffee, Mülltüten etc. vorhanden, sogar Ersatzbatterien für Fernbedienungen. Wenn so etwas vorgefunden wird, lässt man auch gerne eigene Vorräte zurück. Für die recht zentrale Lage ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig. Im Umkreis von 10 Gehminuten viele Restaurants, viele Minimärkte aber kein nennenswerter Supermarkt. Zum Dom und Fischmarkt 10 Gehminuten. Unschlagbar: die Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Sizilianer.
Es ist nicht der Gastgeberin anzulasten, dass in diesem Viertel viel Müll auf den Straßen liegt und es manchmal riecht, als ob die Kanalisation offen verlegt ist.
