  We stayed for just one night as we were passing through, so we are unable to provide an extensive review. However, we were very impressed by Bergamo and would certainly love to return in the future to explore the city in greater detail. Regarding the accommodation itself, the house was clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. In my opinion, it might be worth considering replacing the three separate beds in the living room with sofa beds, which could make the space more practical and comfortable. However, as we only stayed for one night, this was not a significant inconvenience for us.

  Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed with the way the booking situation was handled, as I felt there could have been a little more flexibility and consideration towards guests. To provide some context, we were travelling through France and Italy on a road trip, with several one-night stops along the way, and had booked accommodation at various hotels. We were a group of six people, including two teenagers aged 15 and 17. At all the other hotels, their ages were correctly taken into account without any issues. However, for this particular booking, although all six guests were included in the reservation, the two teenagers were mistakenly registered as infants aged 0. As a result, I was charged an additional €40 to accommodate them at the property. While I understand that an additional charge may have been applicable, I had sincerely hoped for a little understanding and goodwill from the host, perhaps by considering a more flexible fee rather than applying the maximum charge in full. A small gesture of consideration would have been greatly appreciated, especially given the circumstances. Furthermore, there was also an issue with the check-in process, as some necessary steps had not been properly completed by the host. I was informed of this at around 11 p.m. and had to take additional steps myself to resolve the situation, which was rather inconvenient at such a late hour. Unfortunately, while this required extra effort on my part, it did not seem to be met with the same level of effort or consideration from the host. However, I believe that a little more flexibility and a more guest-oriented approach when handling such situations would have made the experience even more positive.

  We loved the cleanliness of the apartment, and it was in a perfect location for everything we wanted to explore. We stayed here as it was a 40 minute drive to the Monza Grand Prix, and an hour drive to Lake Como, whilst still being reasonably priced. The hosts were very responsive via WhatsApp and provided a lot of information on local things that we would find useful.

  Bergamo bello

  La tranquillité des lieux, la terrasse extérieure, le voisinage très sympathique, l'appartement très fonctionnel....et bien sûr l'accueil et la volonté de bien faire des propriétaires....top!

  Quelquefois les avions de l'aéroport proche viennent perturber la tranquillité, mais rien de grave...
