II booked and paid online for a non‑refundable reservation, yet upon arrival, the apartment key was not prepared, and the host attempted to cancel the booking, claiming it should have been made 48 hours in advance. This requirement was never mentioned during the booking process. The apartment had a noticeable humidity smell, the beds were basic, and the linen was dirty and of poor quality. Several essential kitchen items were also missing.
