    Appreciated the location for attending a wedding

    We were in Oxenhope for a wedding and this cottage is perfectly situated for the local church and community hall. The owners have made the most of the small space - the master bedroom, with en-suite (and washing machine) is in the cellar. On the ground floor is a small lounge and tiny kitchen and on the first floor is the twin bedroom, a bathroom and the bedroom with a bed on a platform, accessed by a ladder. The steps to the cellar are not carpeted and the ones going upstairs are. As there was just the two of us, we chose to sleep in the twin room upstairs. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen has sufficient cooking utensils etc. to manage a simple meal. We were able to park on the road outside the house and there is quite a lot of parking available on the road adjacent (on a hill). Parents would need to know the bedroom layout as if they were in the master - the children would be two floors up.

    The living/kitchen area is very small and although there are six (fold up) chairs for the dining table, I'm not sure how 6 people would cope if spending much time indoors. The bed on a platform would be a challenge for many.

    Great value, beautiful property in a fab location.

    Fabulous location, clean and beautifully decorated. Excellent value for money.

    It’s a shame it didn’t have any outdoor space, but it didn’t deflect from how good it was. I’d go back, no question.
