The perfect getaway in the English countryside
Applecote is a charming little cottage, set in a quiet and lush, green neighbourhood. Perfect for anyone who wants a quiet getaway. There are multiple footpaths for walking in the vicinity of the cottage. There's an excellent pub just down the road (King's Head Inn) with lovely food and local brews. Another one's at 10min walking distance (Globe Inn Marsh) with fair and local produce and a great (!) breakfast on weekends. Rye town center is a 2min drive or a 15min walk (take the cemetery route :-) ). The cottage has all you need to stay in as well: a wood stove, a good oven and stove, amenities for tea. Coffee lovers: bring your own Bialetti though.
Just some good advice: - the shower's a bit 'wonky'. It's an open concept, so the bathroomfloor ends up wet. We'd advice bringing bath slippers. - Our dog found a way out of the garden :D She went wandering down the street. The opening's at the back of the cottage. Bringing a long leash to allow your dog in the garden without escape hasard, is a good plan :-)

I had the time of my life on my trip, and staying at this property was the icing on the cake!
It was so comfy and cozy! On. A quiet street with nice neighbors, and a beautiful garden.

Lovely break, lots to do.
The location was very secluded and quiet but in easy reach of Rye.
The wet room bathroom was very small and didn't drain that well.
