    Fabulous property in a great location

    Great location in a lovely village. 3 pubs and a shop nearby. Off road parking very useful in Youlgrave! Easy drive to nearby towns Bakewell and Buxton, as well as to common hiking destinations. Great designated wild swimming spot in Youlgrave less than 10min walk away. Greeted by host Lisa on arrival - very friendly and helpful, and brought us cookies!! The property had everything we could want during our stay, plenty of room for 3 guests. Well equipped kitchen, good sized bedrooms and bathroom. TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine. Lovely selection of teas and coffee. Really impressed by the eco friendly washing up liquid, soaps and washing detergent. This is a fabulous property, kitted out with everything you could need and it a great location, with a lovely host! We will be staying here again and recommending to friends!! Thank you Lisa :)

    Very minor things - uncomfortable sofa and single room bed, could have used a dustpan and brush (although there may have been one, we just couldn’t find it oops!). Our car is small so not a problem in the small parking space/turning space, but may be tricky in larger vehicles

    Cosy, friendly, interesting town, lovely stay.

    Self catering but the facilities were up to date and ideal for for our needs, no complaints
