La signora Irene è molto gentile ed accogliente. Abbiamo trovato un grande cesto di frutta fresca, succo d’arancia e persolmente, ci ha portato un dolce tipico appena fatto. L’appartamento è assolutamente corrispondente alla descrizione, perfetto! Una menzione speciale va al paese di Kalamafta, fuori dai circuiti turistici, ma ancora autentico. Ho ritrovato stessa atmosfera del mio primo viaggio Grecia, 35 anni fa.

Erster Eindruck beim reinkommen, es riecht fantastisch, es ist schön hell, es ist super sauber, aufgeräumt, der Raum sieht besser aus als es Fotos einfangen könnten und der Webstuhl ist ein echter Blickfang. Die Küche ist fürs selbst kochen einer (kleinen) Mahlzeit bestens ausgerüstet. Die Vermieterin ist stets erreichbar und sehr gastfreundlich. Der Standort ist schön ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral im Dorf. Man muss sich nur bewusst sein, dass man vom Dorf jeweils nach Süden und nach Norden immer ein bisschen Zeit benötigt um auf die größeren Straßen zu kommen, Fahranfänger sollten die Straßen mit Ruhe nehmen, sowie alle die am Steuer etwas unsicher sind. Die Qualität der Straße ist sehr gut, es gibt nur viele Serpentinen und das Gefälle kann beim bergauf fahren schwierig werden wenn man ein Auto mit wenig PS fährt. Die gesamte Umgebung belohnt dafür mit dem Ausblick auf eine schroffe Schönheit, vom Stadtrand hat man Blick über Ierapetra aufs Meer und etwas nördlich von Kalamafka gibt es einen niedlichen Aussichtspunkt von dem man Blick auf die Nord- und die Südküste hat. Wir können die Unterkunft und das Dorf nur allen ans Herz legen, die in Gastfreundlich aufgenommen werden wollen und Spaß am Umherreisen haben.
Das Bad ist etwas klein für Leute die größer als 1,90m sind, es ist trotzdem gut machbar.
