The dirtiest apartment we've been to
Location and the view.
Extremely dirty. The worst are the kitchen and the bathroom. In the kitchen all of the horizontal surfaces are extremely dirty. Knobs are so greasy you want to wash your hands afterwards. There was a stove combined with the oven, but we did not use it. There wasn't a cutting knife when we arrived, though the owner brought it to us quickly after we wrote to him. The cutting board is begging to be replaced. The worst was the bathroom. Mold everywhere, dirty focets that weren't cleaned for years, someones sponge hanging in the bathroom (???)... We read a review from about a month ago saying that the hairdryer wasn't working. I thought, surely they have replaced it, there is a hairdryer in the bathroom. No, my mistake. There is a broken hairdryer hanging in the bathroom. Actually a potential hazard, as I tried to turn it on it smelled really bad, so I immediately turned it off. Also the water heater is apparently set to heat water to like a 100 degrees, so you have to be very careful with hot water. When i adjusted water to make it hotter I literally burned my hand as it got from barely warm to boiling hot after a small adjustment. Overall, all bad reviews written are saying the truth. Unfortunately, the owner doesn't really change anything and doesn't see the problem.

A delightful little house with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and a small balcony overlooking the Meteora rocks. If you're looking for luxury or an IKEA-style apartment, you should go elsewhere. We liked it because it was simple and unpretentious. The owner is extraordinarily kind. The small town is charming with very affordable restaurants. There are plenty of opportunities for walks. You really shouldn't stay in Meteora for less than three days. Thanks Argis
The only downside is that the house is located right on the road, though fortunately, there is no traffic at this time of year.
