    Artful traveler

    The historic area. The room size and layout. The friendly staff. The free parking and walkability to downtown and nearby attractions. The. Breakfast was timely and with a nice view. Safe for single travelers.

    The garden was unattended and uncomfortable to sit it. The room was warm and stuffy due to the air conditioner no blowing cold enough. Fireplace also did not turn on colder day. Limited parking led to street parking after 7 pm (not a major issue). House could benefit from dusting and updating in some areas.

    Never again at this place.

    Breakfast was on the third floor. We are in our 80s and cannot use steps. The first morning Heidi brought us 2 halves of toasted bagel and 2 mini muffins, 2 cups of coffee and a glass of OJ. The second morning I made myself a cup of coffee in the self serve area.

    The room was not very warm, infested with black ants which we were constantly killing, Towels were scarce. No one at the check out desk at 11:00am, left the room key on the desk. Not what we are used to for a B&B. Bed was comfortable and the comforter kept us warm when in bed.
