    We were looking for a place that broke up our Boston to Montreal trip and this fit the bill.

    Place was spacious and quiet. Ample kitchen supplies. Homey feel.

    While the everyday surroundings were clean (floors, counters, beds, bathrooms), the place could use a deep cleaning (inside shutters, stove).

    We were traveling home from Maine and needed 3 beds and 2 rooms at Montpelier. We found Artful Lodging and it was a very nice stay. We wish we had more time on our visit. It was a pretty short walk into town for dinner and we enjoyed exploring Montpelier.
