    nice, clean and suitably equipped

    the premises are very well equipped with things for various occasions

    ALWAYS close and lock front door. If you stay alive after climbing the spiral staircase to the mezzanine, a low ceiling awaits you.

    Good location, easy for metro and easy walking distance to everywhere wanted to visit.

    Nothing didn't like - just be aware low ceiling in mezzanine bedroom so have to permanently duck if relatively tall.

    A very bad experience

    Location

    Would I recommend staying here? NO. Along with many other reviews, I was not expecting a staircase that is precarious and a bedroom that you could not stand up in. We did not stay as I was so worried about falling on the stairs at night and hitting my head. I wrote to the owners to explain my difficulty, their reply was 'you saw the photos and it says that over 55s are not allowed to check in'. I did not see the comment about age and even if I did - I would not have understood that it was about the tricky staircase. Also, it's hard to tell from the photos how low the ceiling is in the loft. And it's not about age, if you had any condition that caused problems on a steep staircase I would have appreciated a gesture, as I explained I could not stay there and cancelled the booking so they could resell it. At the moment I am the only one out of pocket as I had to find other accommodation. The location is good but I highly recommend DONT stay if over 160 cms, have young children who you would worry about on a steep open staircase or have any mobility. The webpage needs to be clearer. In the 39 reviews - many are positive, BUT there are also many of us did not see the tricky staircase or low roof. This is the first bad review I have ever given.
