  It would have been lovely if the price we paid was the final price we paid and if we had realised it was a static carava

  It was clean, well appointed and comfortable

  The listing on here is misleading. The ‘elegant holiday home’ is a static caravan, not the lively house and interiors shown in the picture gallery. The host didn’t check who was coming and how we wanted the beds made up, but made assumptions and then charged us an extra large amount for an additional set of linen.

  Die Lage (recht abseits aber mit tollem Blick über das Meer) ist DAS Kriterium um diese Unterkunft zu buchen. Der Trailer steht recht separat auf dem Grundstück der Vermieter. Begrüßt wurden wir von dem Hund der Familie, zwei Ziegen und ein paar Schafen die sich aber mit unserem Einzug vom Grundstück verabschiedet haben. Den wunderschönen Strand von Big Sands kann man zu Fuß in ca 20 Minuten erreichen, wenn man den richtigen Weg findet ansonsten braucht man eher 35 bis 40 Minuten. Die Küche ist recht gut (mit einem Gasherd) ausgestattet, das Bad ist superklein und Schlafzimmermöbel und Wohnzimmerausstattung wirkt wie (oder ist) aus den 70er Jahren. Insgesamt war es sauber, nur das Geschirr hätte mal einen Spülgang vertragen können. Für ein bis zwei Nächte eine prima und preiswerte Unterkunft.

  Das Mobiliar könnte mal erneuert werden und das Bad (eher eine Nasszelle) könnte auch mal eine Modernisierung vertragen. Aber dann wäre es vermutlich auch eine ganze Ecke teurer.

  Peaceful and cozy getaway

  We had a wonderful stay in the caravan and absolutely loved the experience. The location was breathtaking, peaceful and remote. The caravan itself was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely living room and kitchen area that made it feel really homely. Oh, the joy I felt sitting on that sofa while looking through the window! It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time away from the hustle and bustle.

  Really lovely place. I would be happy to stay there again.

  Property was lovely. Comfortable and clean. Really nicely decorated. Great shower.

  No blinds on the windows including bathroom. Lock on front door broken so we couldn’t lock it. Host reassured us it was safe. They were waiting to get it fixed.
